To all East High Band Members! Let’s show em what school Spirit is all about.

We are looking for all past band members, flags, majorettes and pom-pom girls who went to East High School to march in the Alumni band on Homecoming night Friday October 15th. There will be a practice on Thursday October 14th. If you need an instrument, let us know we can get you one!

We need you to sign up by contacting the band director at the email below to let him know your shirt size and what instrument you play. Then we can get your shirt ordered with the year you graduated on the back. We need you to sign up ASAP if you want your class year on the back. We all know that’s important.

Let’s have fun! Sign up, we will be sent music ahead of time. We will be preforming pregame and also at halftime.

Please join the East CLC Marching Dragons fo a night of music of the East CLC Varsity Football Homecoming Game on Friday October 15th, 2021 against the Ellet Orangeman at Ellet CLC starting at 07:00 PM. The Alumni Band will be performing alongsid the Marching Dragons during the pregame and halftime. It is expected that the Alumni will attend the rehearsal with the Marching Dragons on Thursday October 14th 2021 from 5:00-6:30 PM.

A $20 donation will be asked for all Alumni to participate. Your $20 donation will include an Alumni band t-shirt.

The Alumni Association awarded scholarships to seven (7) graduating seniors from the class of 2021 totaling $8,000. Here are a few of the quotes from the thank you letters received from those recipients.

When it was announced I would be receiving the Scholarship, I began to cry. I feel very honored to have received such an esteemed reward.

I worked really hard through my years of high school to be the best student that I could be and with your help, I will continue to do the same at The University of Akron. Thank you so much. I appreciate your faith in me.

I always used to worry about my financial situation because I am a first-generation student and have the support behind me when it comes to school. This scholarship was one of the first scholarships and gave me the confidence to obtain more.

Thank you so much for the scholarship. You have no idea how much it means to me that the Alumni gives back to the school so often. This opportunity genuinely means the world to me and I hope that someday in the future that I will be able to, just like you, give back to the school that gave me so much joy and knowledge for several years.
